Amazing lineup with some of the best local bands. Kontatto plays killer rawpunk/crust and D-Clone needs no explanation. Go or be forever miserable. 


22nd: NEGATIVE APPROACH + PRIMITIVE RITES (se) + DOGMATIST @ Stengade, 21.00, 70 dkk. 
Legendary hardcore and local goodies!

24th-28th (or 27th): UNGDOMSHUSET 30th ANNIVERSARY. I could brag on about this, but lets keep it simple:

• Wednesday programme: Doom metal night with some really good names
• Thursday programme: Galla-peoples kitchen, afterparty and much more
• Friday programme: BOMBEREGN reunion plus shitloads of good punk/rock/hardcore/metal bands
• Saturday programme: GADE X reunion, hangout and shitloads of dance music

Of course there will happen a lot of stuff all the days, so keep looking at the links for more info. Too much to post here. If you like the house, this will be a weekend not to miss.

What a magnificent night that was!

Important dates in OCTOBER 2012

Ungdomshuset will host a special 4-day 30th-anniversary party in october 24th-28th. During theese days there will be lots of different music, but what is most interesting for all you punk/d-beat/hardcore/metal-lovers out there is friday the 26th. This will be the "rock and the like" day, on which one or more old bands will reunite for this one time only. I can't tell you what it is yet, but damn is it good. So be sure to mark a big fat X in your calendar, i promise you will regret it forever if you're not there. Also shitloads of the best local acts will be there!

Some of the best sludgestuff around at all. Part of Beta's dirty days of summer triple-concerts.

3rd: PUNKS UNDEAD w/ GREEN RIVER KILLER + PINK CHAMPAGNE BOYZ + LOSING MUST + SELVKRITIK @ Huset i Magstræde, door 20.00, 40 DKK.

4th: Bus-trip to demonstration in Stockholm against EDL @ Blaagaards Plads
Bus is 200 DKK, and bookings have to be made in advance (!!!). Bus leaves at 23 in the evening.

4th: VACCINE (us) + DEATHRITE (de) + PISS VORTEX + BRUDTE LØFTER @ KB18, door 21.00, 40 DKK.
A grindy night with mixed bands, some more grindy than others. Bookers promise some crusty stuff as well.

10th-12th: PARAMOUNT DIY-Festival @ Paramount DIY in Roskilde, door ? (probably around 18-ish), 120 DKK for all weekend.
One of the years last punk-ish festivals. Very mixed bands, the friday being more crusty and d-beaty than the saturday.

10th: ADOLESCENTS (us) + COMMIE COWBOYS + SURT SHOW @ Stengade, door 22.00, 80 DKK (cheaper presale for 10th+11th at Stengade is availible here)
80's hardcore meets bands that sounds like 80's hardcore. CC just released a very nice 7-inch.

11th: PROJEKT ANTIFA 3 YEAR BIRTHDAY AND SUPPORT PARTY w/ many names, incl. 6 punk-bands @ Ungdomshuset, door 17.00, 40 DKK before 20.00, 60 after.
Big-ass party with loads of stuff. The "Dödsmaskinen" will be filled with good punk and hardcore.

11th: ZERO BOYS (us) + BRUDTE LØFTER + D.D.B (esbjerg) @ Stengade, door 22.00, 80 DKK
Straight forward hardcorepunk-night with both old legends and upcoming danish bands.

15th: KYLESA (us) + DEVILLE (s) @ Gimle in Roskilde, door 20.00, 100 DKK (presale)
Last time Kylesa visited Copenhagen (at Beta) it was super good. Way better live than on records, so check it out, even if you're not into their releases.

Regular citizens organized street party - with a twist.

Soli-party with good hardcore acts. CC just released a new 7'', and GF played a good gig at K-Town Hc Fest.

Metal always fucking rules, and it's always fun to see some of the danish bands who became known outside of the underground.

Crazy 90's dance music and cheap beers

26th: DOGMATIST + HAGGATHA (can) + LOWER @ Bumzen, door 20.00, 40 DKK
Sludgy night with a hardcore/punk touch to it.

29th: TERROR (us) + NAYSAYER (us) + BRUTALITY WILL PREVAIL (uk) @ Beta, door 20.00, 170 DKK (presale)
Pretty famous hardcore act with some metalcore references (you know it, angry balded men with shorts and sneaks).

30th: D-TAKTS TORSDAG w/ SOCIAL CHAOS (br) + LAUTSTÜRMER (malmö) + CRUTCHES (malmö) @ Rex in Malmö, price ?, 20.00 - ends early be there on time!
D-beat amok, first concert with Crutches in a while!

30th+31st (ends on sep. 2nd): KILLTOWN DEATH FEST 2012 @ Loppen and Ungdomshuset, door 375 DKK (for all days, various options. See presale)
The good folks behind the two last killtowns and the doomtown festival does it again. Extremely nice programme, so go check it out! You should volunteer if you can - info is on the website.

APRIL 2012 goes bananas (updated again)

Too many gigs, too little time. What a month!

3rd: CHURCH OF MISERY (jap) + DOGMATIST (k-town) @ Loppen, 21-late. Door 70 kr. Old japanese doom/stoner with heavy early Black Sabbath references supported by local hc-band Dogmatist, who has done a couple of really good shows already.

5th: DEAD CONGREGATION (gr) + INFINITUM OBSCURE (mex) + UNDERGANG (k-town) @ Stengade, 21-late. Door 60 kr. Good death gig, two brutal bands. I don't know the mexican one that well, but Dead Congregation usually delivers quite a show.

5th: AGE OF WOE (se) + MOLESTED (dk) + Surprise @ Paramount DIY, Roskilde, 21-late. Doors 35 kr. Paramount DIY celebrates their 12th anniversary with two crusty acts, one from Gothenburg and one from Helsingør. Surprise-acts and happy-our will also take place.

7th: NIGHT FEVER (k-town) + DEATH TOKEN (k-town) + HÅRDA TIDER (se) + SKURV (k-town) @ Ungdomshuset, 21-late. Door 40 kr. Some of the without a doubt best local hc-acts and a never oi-punk act goes together to support the new label called Raw Birth Records.

8th: PORCO DIO (fin) + DEMOKHRATIA (alg) + MÄRESVIN (k-town) @ Ungdomshuset, 21-late. Door 50 kr. Hardcore in various forms from no less than 3 countries, including the first african band to do a gig in Ungdomshuset as far as i know.

11th: HARD SKIN (uk) THE WAR GOES ON (k-town) KING CARROT (k-town) @ Ungdomshuset, 20-02. Door 50 kr. Something as rare as an oi-punkband swings by Copenhagen, and it's supposed to be good stuff. A good night for all the punkrockers out there.

14th: ABRASIVE WHEELS (uk) + WAR OF DESTRUCTION (dk) + THE WAR GOES ON (k-town) @ Stengade, 21-late. Door 60 kr. Straight-up punk provided by two good 'ol 80's bands both danish and british, supported by local punkrock.

16th: VICTIMS (se) + BLACK BREATH (us) + TORMENTED (se) + BEYOND PINK (se) @ Hemgården in Lund, 18-22.00(?!). Presale 80 SEK, door (not gonna happen) 100 SEK. Good mix of swedish punk and d-beat/hardcore combined with death. Lots of genres, lots of fun. But come on - how can you fit 140 people into that place?

18th: FLIPPER (us) + LOWER (k-town) + BRUDTE LØFTER (k-town) @ Stengade, 21-late. Door 80 kr. Classic punk from 1979 reunited in late 00's supported by two good local punkacts, both newer ones.

20th: TUMOR WARLORD (k-town) + GLOW KIT (k-town) + DUST BUGS (k-town) @ Råhuset, 21-late. Door 50 kr. 3 x release party for a bunch of the stranger local punk-ish bands.

20th-21st: KALDET FRA DYBET @ Ungdomshuset, 21-late (both days). Door 50 kr each day. Dark and gloomy mini-black metal festival with interesting local bands and two anarchist black metal bands from Canada.

21st: INSTINCT OF SURVIVAL (de) + AVFART 33 (se) + SEPSIS (k-town) @ Elværket in Helsingør, 16-very late. Door 40 kr. Heavy duty gig, and i've mentioned it before. New since then: Instinct of Survival are supposedly doing new tracks at their current gigs, and Sepsis will release a demo for you to buy at the gig.

21st: CONAN (uk) + SINISTER CREATION (k-town) @ Beta at Amager, 21-late. Door 75 kr (presale). Not possible to go to Helsingør? This would be the solution then. Doom from the UK combined with locals heavily influenced by NWOBHM and doom.

25th: UMBERTO (us) + more TBA @ Stengade, 20-late. Door 40 kr. If you didn't get enough horror on the 13th, this is a good solution. Freakish tunes that would fit perfectly with an 70's horror movie will be provided.

26th: VULCANO (bra) + BLODFEST (dk) + OGDRU JAHAD (dk) @ Stengade, 21-late. Door 80 kr. A now legendary brazilian metal band on the edge between NWOBHM, black and death supported by local black and a debut-concert.
