Important dates in OCTOBER 2012

Ungdomshuset will host a special 4-day 30th-anniversary party in october 24th-28th. During theese days there will be lots of different music, but what is most interesting for all you punk/d-beat/hardcore/metal-lovers out there is friday the 26th. This will be the "rock and the like" day, on which one or more old bands will reunite for this one time only. I can't tell you what it is yet, but damn is it good. So be sure to mark a big fat X in your calendar, i promise you will regret it forever if you're not there. Also shitloads of the best local acts will be there!

New Gothenburg-based crust-act: Swordwielder

A new Gothenburg-based crustact has seen the light of the day. SWORDWIELDER sounds very similar to Axegrinder, slow, dark and dystopic, but speeds a little up in the riffs and adds a some cleaner vocals, more similar to many other newer swedish crust-acts. Good combination if you ask me.

My new calendar is now up and running, which means it is covering from now untill december 2012. I will keep adding events in the future (even in the very far future) whenever i see fit.

Demonstration this friday: Free Pussy Riot

A demontration has been announced this friday in solidarity with Russian protest-punkband Pussy Riot. The demonstration starts at 16.00, Kristianiagade 5, København Ø (the Russian embassy).

New release: Commie Cowboys 7'' EP

Copenhagen based Commie Cowboys have just released a 7'' EP, which you can check out over at Punk Distro's, who also have made a pretty decent description. Pick up the record at the local pushers in Copenhagen or get in touch with Commie Cowboys at their Facebook.Ungdomshusets distro will also have some soon.
The release comes in two colours, black vinyl or red.
