JULY 2012, UPDATED: No holiday for the punks

Ungdomshuset is having a summer-break for most of, but that doesn't mean nothings going on! Tons of good gigs will take place, so if you're broke like me and can't afford going to some fancy palm-tree infested tourist hell, summers' saved!

1st: Wormrot (jp) + Evisorax (uk) + Dead Instrument (k-town) + Solid Noise (k-town) @ Bumzen, 21.00-late, 40 DKK.
Evil grindcore, and i mean very evil. Some of the best stuff around according to people involved in that scene. Dead Instrument has just released a new LP by the way.

11-14th: Metal Magic Festival @ Ungdommens Hus, Fredericia, no idea about price...
Up for traveling? Metal festival, many decent names on the programme, and the site is very nice. I can in NO WAY recommend Hell, man they suck ass. One band i definately CAN recommend is Antichrist who ruled at Muskelrock.

21st: 1 Day Hardcore Showdown @ Pumpehuset, 16.00-late, 240 (shit...) DKK.
Four bands who i'm really looking forward to see, the other four bands i don't see as a meaningfull part of a Poison Idea-gig, but well, it's the friggin' self-proclaimed kings of punk, so be there or regret it badly.

22nd: Crazy Spirit (us) + Death Token + Sexdrome + The War goes on @ KB18, 20.00-late, 60 DKK.

27th: Coke Bust (us) + Sick Fix (us) + Scavenger Brats + The Monoliths @ Bumzen, 20.00-03.00 (probably), 50 DKK.
Good addition to what seems to be two pretty badass hardcore weeks. Two good hc edge bands from the states, good local thrash/punk and something i've never seen live before. Always good.

23rd-29th: CPH QUEER FESTIVAL @ Ungdomshuset, from early 'till late all days. Entry is for free, donations is suggested!
Workshop-focused queer-festival, always a good visit, interesting stuff. The idea is to create a space without heterosexism, homofobia and the like, learn and share ideas and thoughts.
