While Copenhagen currently lacks d-beat and crusty music (really, i can only think of one, maybe two, bands doing that stuff), Malmö has spawned a new band called Crutches (ok i lied a little, they have been around for awhile, rehersing).
The band has just made a webpage and some recordings soon to be released. They promise solid d-beat madness, so i'm looking much forward to that! You can visit their blog/website here. I'll bet they will have a gig in Copenhagen soon!

Another band deserving attention is Avfart 33. While the band has been around for quite some time, they just released new - and much improved - material. The record is a 12'' split with Gothenburg-based Insidious Process (also worth your while!), and damn, this record delivers. Normally a bands live-energy is hard to find on their records, but this is definately not the case with Avfart 33's new split. Also, the quality is very good, something those swedes are very good at. Check the record out here, buy it here (Distribution 61, open mondays and thursdays).
Guess i will be back soon with more shittalk, at least next months guide will be up - and i promise it will be filled with goodies!
